Nowadays, having a custom fully sublimated jersey has become the ultimate mark of team distinction and unity. Step 1: Conceptualization and Collaboration
Every journey begins with an idea. Many of our clients come with a jersey...or jerseys... that they've seen somewhere and like certain elements of. We try to make it easy by offering up templates of some of our most common designs. You may send photos of the jersey, or describe it to us, or even use our uniform builder.
During this phase we'll also ask you a series of questions to ensure that we include all relevant pieces.
What style jersey do you want? Sleeves? Sleeveless? Crew neck? V-neck?
What color scheme are you wanting? What design would you like on the sleeves?
Do you have a front logo already designed?
Do you want numbers on the front?
Do you want the player name on the back?
Do you have sponsor logos you would like to incorporate?
Do you want a full uniform build out which can include pants, belts, socks, hats and/or headbands?
Would your fans like to join in the fun with our fan shirts that coordinate with the team?
Step 2: Digital Rendering and Mock-ups
Once we know what uniform style you are looking for, our skilled graphic artists utilize advanced design software to create digital renderings and mock-ups of the uniform. These 2D or 3D representations provide a realistic preview of how the uniform will look when worn by the players.
During this phase, design details are fine-tuned, including the placement of logos, typography, and sponsor graphics. The team's feedback is again valued, and any necessary revisions are made to achieve a perfect visual representation of their envisioned uniform. After we receive design approval and your roster, we can move into production.
Step 3: Production and Sublimation Printing
In this phase we electronically build out the jersey design for each player. The basic jersey design that was approved is resized for the jersey. Keep in mind we can make jerseys from a youth xxs all the way up through an adult 4XL. After the jersey elements are sized, we customize each jersey with the name and number requested.
From there we can begin our sublimation printing. The digital design is transferred onto special paper, and using heat and pressure, the ink is permanently transferred to the fabric. Sublimation infuses ink directly into the fabric's fibers, ensuring vibrant colors and sharp details. This ensures that the design will not fade, crack, or peel over time.
Step 4: Tailoring and Construction
With the fabric now adorned with the custom sublimated design, the uniform enters the tailoring and construction stage. Skilled garment technicians cut out the jersey pieces ensuring each jersey piece is together. From there tailors stich the individual parts together, creating a cohesive and comfortable uniform that allows for optimal performance on the field.
Step 5: Quality Control and Assurance
At each step of the process, rigorous quality control measures are undertaken. Each piece undergoes careful inspection to check for any imperfections or discrepancies from the original design. From the colors to the name, every detail is scrutinized to ensure that the final product meets the highest standards of quality and craftsmanship.
Step 6: Delivery and Unveiling
With the final product passing all quality checks, the jerseys are ready for pickup or delivery. As they step onto the field wearing their unique design, they do so with confidence, knowing that their uniform stands as a testament to their collective identity and spirit.
